Carolina Henriquez-Schmitz

Carolina Henriquez-Schmitz is an international attorney who has spent over a decade working to educate and empower lawyers to be proactive leaders in driving social change. Carolina is the Director of TrustLaw – the global pro bono programme of the Thomson Reuters Foundation– where she works with social impact partners around the world to facilitate free legal support for NGOs and social enterprises, and to develop strategic resources and skill-building opportunities that advance human rights, inclusive economies and media freedom.

Previously, Carolina has worked in academia, private practice and at development institutions.
